To become a Licensed Facilitator of DPYK you will need to complete this non-residential training.
The course will:

Those attending will gain an understanding of key theories and skills and to be confident to work with adult groups either to deliver a formal programme or work more informally.

This module is mapped to the revised 2011 National Occupational Standards for Working with Parents. Those attending will gain an understanding of the importance of the parent/child relationship, including attachment theory, parenting styles and managing behaviour. They will also understand key principles of working with parents either in groups or in a one to one supportive role.

As part of the process for Facilitator Licenses, we may be able to approve prior learning of other training for both the Facilitating Groups and Working with Parents modules. The training you successfully completed will need to have been through a recognised provider at Level 3 or equivalent and covering the essential topics in each module.
